How does the EYFS vulnerable children and SEN review work?
Our EYFS Vulnerable Children Review homes in on the areas that many EYFS areas struggle with, for example, Year 1 readiness and the transition from play-based to formal learning.
Our team includes EYFS SEN experts who can help you review difficult cases, such as children with more challenging SEN. We work with you to review every aspect of your setting and staffing, to maximise outcomes for these students with the minimum expenditure of time and money.
Request CallbackA tailored Early Years Vulnerable Children and SEN Review may look at these common elements:

- Discussion re staff deployment including looking at staff expectations of pupils
- An in-depth look at the observation, planning and review cycle of the EYFS curriculum
- Looking at individualised pupil programmes and how these are assessed and reviewed
- Looking at pupil outcomes and SEN Support planning
- A discussion about linking in with the school SENCO/Inclusion co-ordinator and EYFS leader, and how best to ensure this is effective
- Links with local health and social care colleagues
- Relationships with parents and supporting the school to develop effective ways of working in partnership with parents of children with SEN
