Our inclusion experts work with senior leadership, SENCOs and TAs to achieve Ofsted success with the Pupil Premium and the SEN Code of Practice.
Our work is informed by two goals. First we try to free up SENCos, cutting their paperwork burden and getting them out from the inclusion office into classrooms. SENCos do their best work when they are free to train and support teachers to include all students, rather than stuck crisis managing a few highly challenging cases. Second, we focus on the deployment and development of teaching assistants. TAs can be an amazing resource, but too often their potential is untapped. We try to get beyond the Velcro TA model and train TAs to foster inclusion throughout the classroom.
