We focus on factors inhibiting LAC progress and train LAC leaders in multi-agency work.
Looked after children are among the most vulnerable in our schools. We focus on factors inhibiting LAC progress and train LAC leaders in multi-agency work. In a number of recent projects we have worked with virtual heads to train all of their designated teachers. But while the conventional wisdom is to spend money on designated teachers, we think that sometimes, in schools or classrooms with large numbers of LAC, the best results come from improving QFT throughout the school. That way vulnerable students are less likely to feel singled out, and results benefit all students in the school.
